WHEN I THOUGT HE FORGOT ME
Trials and failures made me look like a fool.
Misery hurt like fire,my tears could feel a pool.
All those years I had wondered-- Where were you lord?
All those fears made me think you forgot.
My friends forgot me, My family forgot me but did you even forget?
Did you forget to cuddle me in the darkest night, or are you not perfect?

All that while I thought He wasn't looking my way
All those times that my heart fell in dismay
He was there reaching out to me, but I did forget to lean on him.All I did was remain dim.
I now know He never forgets, I now know he always protects.
